Disney+ Premium Rises to $21.49 a Month; Regular Hulu Bundle Adds 50 Cents

Disney+ Premium now costs $21.49 a month for a new U.S. subscription, just 50 cents less than Disney’s regular $21.99 Disney+–Hulu Premium bundle. For Colorado viewers choosing between those advertised plans, the small monthly gap makes the addition of Hulu worth considering.

Disney’s September 23 price notice applies the new rates to new subscriptions. Disney says people who subscribed earlier will see a change in a billing cycle on or after October 21. That is the start of the billing window, not a charge date for every subscriber.

Standalone prices and bundle terms

Disney+ with ads is $12.49 a month, up 50 cents from the earlier listed $11.99. Premium rose $2.50 from $18.99 to $21.49 monthly; Disney also lists a $214.99 annual Premium option. These are advertised U.S. prices, not necessarily the amount on every customer’s bill.

Disney’s U.S. sales page lists the regular Disney+–Hulu bundle with ads at $12.99 a month, also 50 cents above standalone Disney+ with ads. It advertises a separate six-month price of $19.99 a month for the Premium bundle. That offer renews at $21.99 a month afterward, and Disney says cancellation during the initial term takes effect when it ends.

Prices through third-party billing may vary. Disney also says select live and linear content can carry ads under a no-ads plan. Existing subscribers can check their first billing cycle on or after October 21; new subscribers comparing plans should distinguish the bundle’s regular rate from its six-month offer.
